The most requested Cape Dory parts & supplies are manufactured by:

Bristol Bronze is producing the original bronze hull number builder's plates for all Cape Dory models. In addition to the builder's plates, Bristol Bronze offers replacement ports for the Typhoon and a complete inventory of bronze fittings for traditional and classic yachts. Dometic AB -- the manufacturer of the original Origo 2- and 3-burner alcohol stoves/ovens found on many Cape Dory yachts. Intercon Marketing, Inc. is their U.S. distributor and they are located at 1540 Northgate Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34234. Phone: (941) 355-4488. E-mail: info@interconmktg.com.

Edson International -- the manufacturer of the original steering systems on many Cape Dory yachts. Edson manufacturers marine steering systems and accessories, boat davits, radar towers and marine pumps...for power and sail.

Ocean Engineering, the original supplier of stainless steel tubular fabrications, is no longer in business. Pompanette, Inc. -- the manufacturer of the original Bomar hatches found on many Cape Dories. They are also the manufacturers of the Pompanette line of fishing and marine hardware, e.g., fighting chairs, helm seats, rocket launchers, etc.; Hood Yacht Systems furling systems; Bomar/Gray hatches, portlights, deckplates, etc.

Rig-Rite -- Spartan Spars, the original equipment masts for Cape Dory Yachts, are manufactured and distributed by Rig-Rite.

Spartan Marine -- the manufacturer of the original bronze fittings found on Cape Dory Yachts, located at: HC 33, BOX 1460, Georgetown, ME. 04530. Phone: (207)371-2542 Or 1-(800)325-3287 and ask for a catalog.

St. Angelo Hardwoods -- though they no longer have the patterns or mouldings specific to Cape Dory boats, they are still a source of marine teak lumber, decking and mouldings and other hardwoods. Triad Trailers, which was a supplier of trailers to Cape Dory and its dealers, is still in business in New Milford, Connecticut. They have custom trailer specs for the Typhoons and most Cape Dory sailboats to 30’. Triad can be reached at (860) 354-1146 or triadtrls@aol.com.

Westerbeke Corporation ( Hansen Marine Engineering ; find a dealer in your area), Yannar Diesel America Corp. ( Mack Boring & Parts Company , find a dealer in your area), Volvo Penta (find a dealer), Perkins Engine Co., Ltd. (find a dealer), and Perkins-Sabre (find a dealer) -- the manufacturers/distributors of many of the original marine diesel engines found in Cape Dorys.
