Members of the Gulf Coast Fleet are making plans for the CDSOA annual meeting on November 8, 2008. This will be held at the South Shore Harbor Resort & Conference Center, which is on Clear Lake (which adjoins Galveston Bay), in the Houston area. The highlight of the meeting will be a dinner cruise on a beautiful 95’ motor yacht. This is an opportunity to visit this part of our country, at a time when there is usually good, warm weather. Sandy and I are making this an extended weekend vacation. There is much to see and do around Houston, including the Johnson Space Center and Space Center Houston, not to mention the many museums and other attractions. So take a minute and go online to check out what’s available in Houston. Look at Majestic Ventures regarding the dinner cruise on the M/V Royal Princess, and the South Shore Harbor Resort. I think you will agree that this can be a very worthwhile trip; a chance to be with CDSOA members, to learn about the Gulf Coast Fleet and to explore some of the beauty of this part of our Country.
