	Rendezvous Info:
	The Buzzards Bay Float-in, hosted by the Northeast Fleet, will take place Saturday and Sunday, August 7-8, 2004. This is a FREE event so sail on over to Aucoot Cove, nestled between Sippican and Mattapoisett Harbors on Buzzards Bay, and raft-up, conditions permitting, with fellow Cape Dorians. Don’t like to raft-up? That’s okay, just anchor, hop in your dinghy and join the friendly crews aboard the raft. Don’t have a dinghy? That’s okay too, one of the other participants will be glad to pick you up in theirs. We’ll spend the afternoon and evening on Saturday getting to know one another and sharing snacks, cocktails and a potluck dinner on the raft. There’ll be more of the same on Sunday until the raft breaks up and boats head their separate ways. This is also a “Flotilla” stop for boats heading to the rendezvous at Plymouth. The anchorage area is indicated on the chart facsimile above (click on the chart thumbnail for more detail). If you'd rather get a mooring, they are available from the Aucoot Boatyard. Give them a call at 508-758-2222. Moorings are $20 per night. If the weather doesn't cooperate, and the wind decides to come out of the southeast, we'll head into Mattapoisett Harbor and raft or anchor separately in Molly's Cove amongst the moored boats. If this is the case, we'll broadcast our change of venue over the VHF. So please be sure to monitor VHF Ch. 16 and 72. Dinner will be potluck and shared amongst the rafted crews. So please bring snack and meal items to be shared. Don't forget to bring your preferred beverages! Please monitor VHF Ch. 16 and 72 for fleet communications.
